Serving on children's and teenager's courses

Children's and Teenager's courses are given in Dutch, German and French only. For more information about serving on a children's and Teenager's course at Dhamma Pajjota, please select the appropriate language from the menu in the top right corner of this page.

 

Roles for which servers are needed

During the course, there is a need for activity leaders, group leaders, course managers and kitchen staff. For a list of specific responsibilities please see the menu on the right.

For serving with the children and teenagers you need to speak their native language well. If you speak an other language then theirs you are welcome to serve in the kitchen or on site of the centre.

 

Workshop as preparation for service

A workshop is organised for Dhamma servers to help them in preparing for their service with the children in different roles: activityleaders, groupleaders and coursemanager.

During the workshop these roles will be explained and divided. All servers, with the exception of those who wish to work in the kitchen and parents of children who participate, are asked to attend the workshop.

The workshop takes place in the morning before the start of the course.
