The new male accommodation is in use since the 20-day course from 10th till 31st of March. For the new kitchen-dining building the plan is to start using it for the first time during the ten day course starting 16th of May.
Ground works for both buildings take place in the Sit & Serve Period from 13 to 24 September.
A time-lapse camera is installed so that meditators can follow the progress from home.
The project team and the kitchen committee work out detailed plans for the layout of the kitchen and dining halls, and also select kitchen equipment.
The garden committee and two landscape architects are joining with the project team to prepare the site for construction work and develop a new layout plan for the garden (paths, segregation line, vegetation).
The building permit for the MA is approved by the municipality.
The final building team is founded: next to DMOA, the project team will work with BAST, the technical engineers, and Sidati for the construction of the structural work.

Thanks to extra funds being offered the trust decides to construct the KDB and the new male accommodation building (MA) at the same time.
Architectural competition - the choice goes to DMOA, a renowned architectural agency located in Leuven (Belgium).
The project team works closely with the architects, the board members and committees to develop a design for the new kitchen-dining building (KDB).
A project team of dedicated Dhamma servers is installed to prepare the project.
